Last week was my birthday, it was also the 7 year anniversary of when my husband proposed. I was still in college at the time and usually only got to see him on Saturdays. However, on my birthday he called, and was outside my apartment door ready to take me on a picnic. I was excited and bummed as I was scheduled to work that evening. What I didn’t know was that he called my boss and got me the night off. While on the picnic he proposed!

What is a gift that someone gave you that you’ll always remember?

He shared that he thought about taking me to a fancy dinner, but this felt more like us. He was right.

When doing things for the ones that we love, we want it to be perfect.
