Powerline Leggings
When our dog, Peca, was younger, we would go for a walk everyday, now she sits down in the middle of the street and refusing to walk.
On our daily walks I was always checking out all of the powerlines strung across the allies. Really it’s nuts. I looks like someone took a large ball of black yarn and just started throwing it. I was so interested in the lines and patterns created, that I started taking photos. ( However, I can’t seem to find them to share with you)
For quiet some time, the photos stayed tucked away in a folder on my computer, then one day, I opened up photoshop, and started layering them, and adding color. I was loving it! I wanted to share the powerline images with everyone, and since I’m a fabric lover, I started exploring every way possible to get the images on fabric, I did some digital printing, cyanotype, and some sewing.
My most recent discover is what I’m the most excited about. I got the images printed on leggings. YEAH!
