How to think like a stylist

_DSC0013-001After moving to Lancaster I decided that I needed to work on improving my Spanish, so one of my Spanish speaking friends, only speaks to me in Spanish when we get together, and I have to attempt to respond is Spanish. It’s a great way to learn, but man does it hurt my brain.

Really, I can feel my brain working, and it doesn’t like it. It so badly just wants me to speak English, because that is easy. Luckily I have a good teacher, that won’t respond if I speak in English.

If this is making you have the urge to learn Spanish as well, I”m also currently obsessed with earning points on this “learn how to speak Spanish app”, call duolingo. It’s a great way to avoid cleaning, putting away laundry, or really anything that you don’t want to do, because of course learning Spanish is more important.

Anyway, it’s a million times easier to learn something when someone  who already knows it teaches it to you. And while I’m not ready to teach you Spanish, there are a lot of ways that you can learn from me in the next few months.

1. I love style and art, so I’m creating a new style series that teaches you how to dress for your body, and you get to learn about art too ( because they are connected) . It’s FREE, so join the party

2. I”m hosting an essential oils workshop at the gallery. Hint: I almost always offer special insider deals to attendees. Find out more here.

3. Is there a craft show in your future? Or do you have a friend that does shows? I”m about to retire my craft show planning guide, so grab a copy now.

4. I”m teaching some kids and some high school classes at the Pennsylvania College of Art and design, find them here.
