Confession: You want to feel more than comfortable
I wore a pink dress to work today, if you know me, you know that’s odd.
I’m usually a black, blacker, with maybe some light black kind of dresser.
When I get dressed in the morning, I’m all about feeling powerful, comfortable, and sexy, ( but not too sexy because I do teach teenagers)
This morning, when I looked in the mirror, I knew that it wasn’t something that I would usually wear, but it made me feel powerful, comfortable, and sexy, so I decided to go for it, and headed out the door in my pink dress.
And believe me, that pink dress got comments. People noticed that it was out of my norm, but I didn’t care.
My point is, when you get dressed in the morning, you need to get dressed for you. You need to get dressed so that you feel how you need to feel in order to get the job done. Yes, we all want to feel comfortable ( I think that’s a given) , but we want more than comfort when we walk out the door.

PS: sorry no photo. While I tried to do my daily lunges, crunches and pushups with the dress on ( I’m not making this up, I hate changing clothes, and I really did try), but the lunges just weren’t working.
