Are you READY?

hand woven scarves

On Friday, I pack my car and head to Wilmington to set my booth at the Chase Center. Which means that I’ve decided that I want the days leading up to the show to be super productive. There are lots of great ideas floating through my head and I want each one of them to be ready for you to see in just 6 days. Plus I work well under pressure, so when leading up to an event, take a few days and work like crazy. I decided to share it here, for a few reasons.

It gives you a peek into a how I work and I want you to help hold me accountable. I’m sharing the list of what I plan to do this week, and will post at the end of the week to see if I made it through everything. So here we go.

1.  Sew tags into scarves

2. Add scarf story to packaging along with scarf name to box

3. purchase more boxes

4. photograph all scarves and get them organized in the shop

5. put finishing touches on 5 scarves

6. write 5 blog posts

7. dress the loom

8 finish reading Contagious

9. Order yarn

10. Add a few other special goodies to packaging ( Sorry, but you’re going to have to purchase a scarf to find out what else is going into the box)

11. Get photos printed for booth

12. add grommets to photos

13. cut chain to hang images

14. clean out packing boxes in attic

15. pack

So there’s my list, now , knowing myself, I”m sure that I”ll keep adding to this list, because as I work, I always get more ideas. So this week, the alarm is going off at 5 am, I”m putting in long days, and putting together an  awesome shopping experience for you.
