The bell rang, students were in their seats, and it was time to start class, as I was about to start one of the students raised their hand and asked why I didn’t have a scarf on. They seemed genuinely concerned about the situation, perhaps my head was going to fall off. While I don’t always feel that they are paying attention to what I’m teaching, they ARE paying attention to what I wear.

So I”m going to ask you the same question, Why aren’t you wearing a scarf?
